A quick and easy meal to serve when having a busy day or in a rush. Can be served hot or cold which is a plus too.
Downside is that it can be quite pricey and it doesn’t taste the best. I also wish it had a lid so that I could take it out and about and keep for later on if not eaten in one sitting. Would also allow me to reuse the tray.

The cottage pie meal was a favourite of my son. It was the perfect portion for him and was the perfect quick and filling lunch before the school run to collect my other child. It was nutritious and more convenient at the time I most needed it. Would recommend. They were similarly priced to alternatives.

We thought we would give Heinz meals a try once our little boy got to the age of about 1, however he did not take well to them and I think contributed to a bit of tummy ache. We have now switched to Hipp, Tilda rice and making family meals using less salt.
