We bought this when trying to transition our son over to sippy cups. After giving him it, he tried numerous times to drink and eventually became very frustrated as the liquid would not flow. Eventually we realised that the spout had to be nipped between the teeth as well in order to open the valve, which was just too complicated for a baby.

I bought this for my son as an alternative to a bottle as we were struggling to get him to take a bottle after breastfeeding. It worked brilliantly for a few days and then started leaking as soon as it was tipped up. Good shape for babies to hold though.

Sadly I don’t rate this bottle at all. It was the first bottle/cup that I bought for my baby when we started weaning. It’s almost impossible to drink from. To get the water out, the soft plastic teat needs to be squeezed or bitten AND the baby needs to suck. It’s just far too complicated. I ended up buying a free flow cup instead which was much better.
