My daughter is 2.5 and will not give up her dummy, after seeing these Nuk ones specifically designed for kids over 18 months I bought 2. On the first try she recognised the difference and threw it but once I gave them to her before bed she took to them instantly. The teat is a lot flatter and softer which is much better for older kids with teeth from an orthodontic perspective. My main concern was what having a dummy at this age is doing to her teeth/palette but I love how these Nuk dummies are so flat - it will make transition to no dummy much easier. I got these in Baby Bunting :-) My daughter now loves her "new dummies" because of the cute patterns. Win!
