These work so much better than normal plasters when you’re breaking in new shoes that have broken the skin on your heels and it’s now painful to walk. Recently wore a new pair of Dr Marten’s that caused the back of my heels to blister badly and bleed and it was so painful to walk even in other shoes. These meant I could actually walk without being in pain and I think helped the blisters to heal faster too.

Compeed really have got the ingredients right for this product. It works perfectly, forming a barrier, I have tried other products but these have never let me down and I keep coming back to them. They're waterproof so last a few days as well, which is helpful as they are a bit pricey to be changing too frequently.

1. i don't quite understand why they need a plastic case, i get that its for easy storage but its so wasteful and a very simple paper envelope would do the trick. the amount of unnecessary plastic in it is actually something that would put me off nowadays
2. They are pricier than competitors
