I have a 5 week old and am in the process of trying different brands of nappy to find what works best for us and little one.

Tesco's: Good priced supermarket nappy, I like the premise of the elasticated back, they're thin and little one hasn't had any issues with the material they're made of. BUT they leak. A lot. Some days nothing, some 3 outfit changes. And I don't just mean poonami, they leak urine from the legs. At first I wondered if it's because my skinny boyo hasn't got chunky enough legs to stop it leaking but we don't have this issue with any other nappy that we've tried yet.

Other supermarket brands (Lidl/Aldi) don't have this issue nor do boots or pampers. We will continue our trial but looks like the cheaper supermarkets are winning.

I have been using pampers up until now for my 3 week old. This is the first time I was using a store bought brand and it leaked on first use. Wee one had pee up their back. Not worth the savings. Going back to pampers until I try a different store brand.

Affordable product that I can pick up on my weekly shop however, this would not be my first pick as they leak quite easily. My children have had no reaction to the materials but find myself having to change the nappies, more often than other brands to reduce the risk of leakage.
